April 19, 2015: My Okinawa & Taiwan Reflection

April 19, 2015

I just came back from Taiwan yesterday at 1 in the morning. I was so overwhelmingly sleeping and slept like a baby all night, or shall we say morning. I really, really super duper enjoyed the trip. I would usually love vacations and I am proud to say that this one was awesome. Even though I went to some places, okay, most of the places in Taiwan, it was nice to visit Taipei, Taizhong and other places like the sun moon lake which looks like a sun on the first half and a crescent moon on the second. Okinawa was also very new to me. The weather there was great and I understand why the people there have long lives. There was also an aquarium there that had 3 giant whale sharks. The tour guide there told us dozens of information and I think that it was surprising to know that America battled with Japan on this small island. I feel supremely sorry to the people who died in the battle and the loss of Japan but it was the past so, never mind.
Then, we went to Taiwan and met another tour guide she was funny and talkative and could also speak Thai. I learned so much! There was a lot of funny facts like the one about the Thai dance. We make the 3 signal and wave it to ourselves and make the 5 signal and wave it out so it was like 3 baht in and 5 baht out which shows the not greediness and hesitant of us but for the Chinese dance, they make the 5 signal and wave it in and make a 2 signal and shake their hands like, should I wave the 2 out?
She told us about her tour members and their funny experience. Once, a tour member left their underwear at the hotel, meaning to throw it away but the hotel called my tour guide and sent it back by mail. There was also another time when the remote control was missing but there was an iphone instead, so that means that they mistaken the remote for their phone. There was also a time where three members forgot their things at the hotel. There was a buddha necklace, a pillow and an underwear. They called the tour guide, my tour guide, and she told them to send it back. When they opened the package, they saw the pillow at the bottom, the necklace at the middle and the underwear on top. The necklace's owner was so disgusted! She also told us other strategies like to close the curtains and the car won't get hot or how to know if a person is in the toilet stall. All you have to do is kick the stall and if you hear "Ah!" that means that someone is in the toilet.
We also forgot a member and the car can't u-turn so the guide jumped down and borrowed a motorcycle to ride back and get the member. She didn't even return the motorcycle and left it on the side of the road! Lol! Did you know that taiwanese take baths for only half an hour and Thais take them for an hour? There was a lot of cool facts. Over all, I enjoyed this fascinating Okinawan/Taiwanese trip. It was a wonderful experience that I would surely like to repeat.

April 5, 2015: How to Make Duet Video in iMovie

April 5, 2015

In like, 4 days and I'm going to Okinawa and Taiwan. I am super excited and even more thrilled to leave all the school work behind in Thailand. Farewell homework. Although I am a little sad to miss the Songkran festival, I am still looking forward to Thursday! Hurray! Check out my YouTube channel: kassiopiabloomtopia. I've been uploading some videos on YouTube and I'd say they're pretty awesome. The reason of me uploading about a million videos is because of this awesome movie maker app called iMovie. I am so psyched to use it. I also promised in the description box that I would write how to make a duet video using the app so here goes nothing!

How to Create a Duet Video in iMovie

Step 1: Sing any song you want. Make sure to enable the voice.
Step 2: Record your voice separately.
Step 3: Done! See? It's soooo easy to make and is also fun.

Make sure to subscribe! Thanks!

March, 23 2015: Product Theory

March, 23 2015

Did your ever go to the mall and try a product and it works well but when you buy it, it actually doesn't work the same? I have a theory.

  How The Marketers Do It
- They let you try the best one
- It is a different version
- They have a picture or commercial beside to convince you
- They use lighting
- They tell you the good things while you use it
- They show you the effect that you won't really see if it was at home
- Gentle songs in the background
- Make a big crowd

  You can't fool me!!!

March, 27 2015: Cheating Teachers

March, 27 2015

I noticed yesterday that when the piano teacher is telling you to play smoothly, and she shows you what you are playing and what she is playing it is so different because when she plays our version, she will play louder, note by note and slower. But when she plays the right way, she plays soft and fast but try not to lift her fingers. The trick is to press the pedal on the right ( The damper pedal) of the piano to make it smooth. Just saying.

Step 1: Grab a small part of the sponge.
Step 2: Tie the rope/rubber band around. Make sure it is untieable.
Step 3: Rub the face cream on the smooth part.
Step 4: Use your hand to crumble and squeeze the face puff a little to make some foam.
Step 5: Rub gently on your face. Be aware of your eyes.

Oh, I forgot. I came up with another great, great idea last night when I was watching Yuhee The Witch,I saw the man's jacket tear. So, what if your jacket tore? I have a way to turn it into a cute blazer, although it may need an adult's help.

How to Turn an Old Jacket into a Cute Blazer

Ingredients:
-Jacket
-Pins, iron on stickers, badges...
-Cloth pieces (To cover up the tears)
-Needle and Thread
-Scissors
(-Velcro, if you have a hoodie)
(-Buttons, if you have a zipper)

Step 1: Sew pieces of cloth on the tears.
Step 2: Collect pins, stickers, iron on stickers or badges to put on the patches to hide them.
Step 3 (If you have a zipper): Take out the zipper and sew on buttons.
Step 4 (If you have a hoodie) Stick velcro inside the jacket and velcro the hoodie to hide it.
Step 5: Cut the lint balls ad thread that is sticking out.
Step 6: DONE! You've made yourself a cute blazer to go show your friends!

I'm also really excited to go to my uncle's birthday party because my cousins will be there and I will really want to play Minecraft with them. Did you know that with wifi, you can go into another person close to you's realm by sitting or standing next to each other? I think it only works with pocket edition. Who knows?

March, 21 2015: Frozen Fondue

March, 21 2015

Did you know that you can easily make someone seem toothless when you eat a lot of frozen chocolate fondue?

Recipe for Frozen Fondue From Chef Bloomy:
Ingredients:
1. Fondue
2. Ice or Ice-cream
3. Spoon and Fork
4. Knife/butter knife
(5. Small cups or bowls (the amount depends on how many frozen fondues you are going to make)

Step 1: Get a spoonful of fondue in a spoon.
Step 2: Pour the fondue in the cup or bowl. If you are not using a cup or bowl, do not do this
Step 3 (If your using ice-cream): Put ice-cream on top, don't worry, you can take it out later.
Step 4 (If your using ice): Pour some ice in a bowl and the place the spoon/bowl/cup in the bowl of ice.
Step 5: Wait a few minutes if you use ice-cream but if you use ice, it might take a few hours.
Step 6 (If your using ice-cream): The fondue is already frozen and stuck to the cup. Pour the ice-cream of or just leave it, but if you leave it, you will not be able to continue on the next few steps.
Step 7 (If your using ice): If it doesn't work, you may put it in the freezer. Then get it out  of the bowl.
Step 8: Use the knife to cut around the sides of the chocolate and take it out.
Step 9: Voila! You've got a frozen fondue too enjoy! :)

Tip: Use a cookie cutter to cut it into many different cute shapes.
